Some really good news

This is kinda fun as most people now have live update blog feed that prints the title when you update. Well my really good news is that I am more than 1/2 way now through my first group of classes and am passing both. Basic Nursing I have a 91 in which is really good and Pharmacology I have a 78 in which is passing. For some reason I have had a really hard time in Pharm and that is tough because we will have that until we graduate in May. You also have to keep all your grades above a 73 or you have to quit the program and wait until the next go round if there is room. Which right now there is a two year waiting list for our town as they only have one teacher and so can only have 16 students and our hospital doesn't support that many most of the time because we don't have that many sick people in there at a time most of the time.
In two weeks we start clinicals at the hospital and at the end of Oct we have our final for Basic Nursing then move on to Nursing of the Adult I, II, and III. All for now. Jeanne Ogden

An update

Hi to all. I can not find my camera/computer cord so will just have to do a written update. School is going good. We are on our 5 week so are in the middle of midterms. Hard to believe we are already 1/2 done with this group of classes. Beginning Nursing is going great as I have that class 4 days a week I don't seem to be having any problem keeping up in it. Pharmacology which I thought would be my easy class is instead my hard class as we only have it 1 day a week for 2 hours and that is over the t.v. which doesn't have a very good connection so we are getting a lot of static and not much lecture which is very unhelpful.
Work is going great although I am doing to much of it and trying to cut back so I have a little time to spend on married life and my house. We still don't have my apartment rented which is a drain but we are working on that. Married life is going great. I have a wonderful husband who takes every chance he gets to make me happy. If I could only get a gingerbread cookie recipe I would make him quite happy to. Aren't simple little things wonderful. We found out when Dad was here that our cherry tree was really an apple tree. I don't know if we can use these apples to make anything out of as it is a hanging ornamental one. We do have about 16 at the school though that I am checking to see if I can pick some apples off of as the are the regular small apple variety and a little bigger than ours.
We went to Floyd folks last weekend to try and surprise his brother but only his parents got surprised as Doug figured out we were coming also. Had a great weekend. This Sat I am taking off so we can go to BirdCity for the weekend. We are enjoying a very nice fall here so far with warm days, some rain and our grass is growing quite nicely.
All for now.

I had a beautiful wonderful wedding day. I wanted to put some pictures up and thank all those people who may my day so very special. First I will have to thank my wonderful husband for sharing the day with all these people but first of all finding my skirt and bring it to me first thing in the morning so I would have something to wear :) I had done laundry at his house and discovered Sat morning that I really didn't have anything comfortable to run around in. I know you don't really like crowds of people dear or having your picture taken or waiting on me but you were great through the day. Second I would like to thank my Mom and Dad who did lots and lots and lots of behind the scenes work and work that everyone saw also. Thanks Dad for all you did and thanks mom for coming up ahead of time and not complaining that the wedding was here instead of in Kearney though I know you probably had lots to complain about I didn't hear anything and you were the best MOB I've ever seen.
Thanks to Floyds parents for raising an awesome man in the first place for all that you guys did and the best yet rehearsal dinner party. The food was great it was beautiful and the watermelon was the best. I know there is a pict somewhere of it.
Thank you Lynisha for being my everything. You are the greatest sister. We had beautiful cakes and flowers and you kept me calm through it all and managed as your husband said to keep everything together at home. You are an inspiration. Everyone at school and work said the cake was the best. Thankyou Jim for loaning your wife out to caos for how many weeks.
Thankyou aunt Gay and Raimie for all that you did. Coming early to help out, taking pictures, the great shower and all. Thankyou uncle Patrick and Jeffery for loaning us your wives and for what you did with the video camera and directing cars kids, etc.
Thankyou to all the flower girl's mommies for the loan of your darling little girls for the day. They where the greatest. Thankyou Jana, Doug, Renee, Jim, Derek, Ryan, and Cody for being in the wedding. Renee thankyou for coming ahead of time also and keeping me calm. That was a great BIG help.
THANKYOU to the rest of our family and friends for all that you did. Laura I am so glad you got to share the blog page with us and for your phone call. Now I am going to bed so If I forgot people or things that you did please know that I do remember it is just late so its not getting wrote down. I have the greatest family though. Jeanne Ogden
