13 months.

Oh where did 12 months go. There were so many pictures I wanted to take and well I forgot my camera so I will just have to settle for what I have. This is our little bit on halloween. Well pictures aren't loading so you will have to wait a day or so to see them.

Lasts and firsts

Mommies goofy girl.

this is the last picture of her crawling in the swimming pool. Grandma got a video of the first time she tried to stand from a sitting position. Which will probably be the last as next summer she will be walking.

crawling out of the water

playing ball with daddy

One of the last time's she falls asleep in her swing.

She went on the Walk of Hope Cancer walk with daddy last Friday night while I was working.

First bowl of noodles.

First smoothie

Around the time Nish did the blog about Kyrie getting older I was thinking about watching for Lyrah's lasts. I know she's not a year old yet and hasn't done a lot of her firsts but she is growing and changing so fast that she will soon have a whole pile of little lasts. She has already had her last little toothless grin and her last bottle with daddy or grandma. Or at least I hope they don't give her a bottle anyway when I'm not looking. We've had the last time we can leave her alone on a bed and soon will be the last time I can leave her at the bottom of the stairs while running up stairs quickly to do something because she is already trying to climb them. I can't set her down in the back yard and run around front for the hose as she can creep now and tries to follow me. She also walks the walls or furniture after us. She is learning the word no, eating everything she can put in her mouth and jabbering up a storm. So here are a few pictures of our summer of first and lasts.

9 Months old!

I love to try to stand.

She pulled her head band over her eyes and then laid there and laughed.

Not being very photo friendly

I know I can crawl but I'd rather try to stand up or fall down and roll to where I want to go.

My attempt at a french braid.

She has enough hair for it, its just getting her to sit somewhat still to do it.

9 Months

Sept 2009 I can't believe are darling little girl will 9 months on Sat. Time seems to have gone much faster with her than when we were waiting for her to come. These are not the best pictures of her but they are the pictures I have taken from the 26th of the month or very close to it. She is now working on walking around things and loves the swimming pool where she can "walk" around in the water in her float. She has two teeth on the bottom which I have tried to get pictures of but have not succeded. She is working on pulling herself up on things but would rather holler for someone to pick her up. She loves to talk and sing and doesn't seem to mind car rides. She loves rides in her stroller and the outdoors. Sat I will put some 9 month pictures up hopefully or as I am working it will probably be Sunday but till then enjoy these.

Trip to TN #2

We went and had an old fashioned photo taken.

We went to play a game of mini golf at one of the many places they had there to play. This one was about an explorer and you got on this train to ride to the top of the golf course.

The course we went on went in, out and around this mountain and water fall.

After golfing we had to go check out the Dollywood dress store. I'm sure you can see why.

A cute little rocking chair they had there.

Little bit had fun shopping. She got a dress and all the trimings.

Next we went to the dixi land stamped. Lyrah loved the music and kept trying to lean over as far as she could as we were on the ballcony.

They served supper while you watched the show. All finger food. You can see the bowls with the handles on our plates. We used those to drink our soup. Then we had cornish hens, potatoes, slice of pork, and an apple fritter.

Lyrah and I with one of the riders after the show.

This place was an upside down dinner theater. You can kinda see the door and lamp posts at the top of the picture.

Convention grounds where we had a potluck on Sat before we left to go back to Memphis.

I loved all the old barns there.

These places were on the road that the gps took us through to get out of the sever trafic in Knoxville. Each house had its own little bridge across a stream.

Tired little girl at the Memphis airport around 4am.

Glad to be heading home after a wonderful trip.

The plane to Atlanta.

Sunrise.

Coming down into Atlanta.

Glad to see our plane is leaving on time.

Sitting with Grandma for a little while on the way to Denver.

DENVER.

We were pretty happy to be home again.
