Trip to TN #2

We went and had an old fashioned photo taken.

We went to play a game of mini golf at one of the many places they had there to play. This one was about an explorer and you got on this train to ride to the top of the golf course.

The course we went on went in, out and around this mountain and water fall.

After golfing we had to go check out the Dollywood dress store. I'm sure you can see why.

A cute little rocking chair they had there.

Little bit had fun shopping. She got a dress and all the trimings.

Next we went to the dixi land stamped. Lyrah loved the music and kept trying to lean over as far as she could as we were on the ballcony.

They served supper while you watched the show. All finger food. You can see the bowls with the handles on our plates. We used those to drink our soup. Then we had cornish hens, potatoes, slice of pork, and an apple fritter.

Lyrah and I with one of the riders after the show.

This place was an upside down dinner theater. You can kinda see the door and lamp posts at the top of the picture.

Convention grounds where we had a potluck on Sat before we left to go back to Memphis.

I loved all the old barns there.

These places were on the road that the gps took us through to get out of the sever trafic in Knoxville. Each house had its own little bridge across a stream.

Tired little girl at the Memphis airport around 4am.

Glad to be heading home after a wonderful trip.

The plane to Atlanta.

Sunrise.

Coming down into Atlanta.

Glad to see our plane is leaving on time.

Sitting with Grandma for a little while on the way to Denver.

DENVER.

We were pretty happy to be home again.

Dear Tennessee travelers,
It is great to see pix and hear about your trip! Looks like a wonderful time together.
Wondering if you are at Cumberland falls in one of those first pix??
Just looks familiar from a longago trip there when I was a teen. It sure is beautiful country. I love the barns and bridges too.

Dear middle aunt, We met a fellow by the name of Broady where you stayed after a trip to TN. Not sure where the side of the road pictures were taken as we traveled quite a bit but it is possible they where taken near there.
