Late night ramble

Hello again all. I bet you thought I got lost out there in the computer world. But here I am and really I was lost in the wedding planning world and on the wedding blog page. So lets see for an update. Even though I've managed to pass off the wedding plans to most of my family ( which I give you a HUGE THANKYOU for) I still do have a few things I have to do.
So Wed Mom, Lynisha, Raimie and I headed down to Denver to pick up Beth and go wedding dress shopping. We had printed off the picture of the dress I thought I really wanted and Lynisha surched stores and printed out directions. So with Beth in the passenger seat and Gene on the other end of the phone helping to navigate we got to our first store which was closed on Wed. Well we got a bright Idea to call and see if the next store was open. It was so we headed over to the mall where the store was at and had lunch at Chilies before finding the store. Well this store was okay they did have some dresses with sleeves but really most of them were in 6-8 and I am not that small so it was hard for me to get any idea what so ever what I wanted except for the neck lines that might look okay. Well we didn't find what I liked so we went on to the next store.
This time someone got the bright idea to call ahead and see if the stores actually had the dress I wanted to try on or at least the line of dresses. Well we found a store that did so headed clear across Denver to find it. This store was really nice inside and they had racks of dresses with sleeves and big dressing rooms with a stand and mirror so you could really see well. So I started trying on dress after dress after dress. Most of them were a close size so that was really neat to be able to see what they actually looked like. So I tried on the dress that I liked from the magazine but it just wasn't right. I tried on a few others and liked one or two well enough to buy them but none really grabed my untill I found the one. I tried it on and it was just perfect.
After that we went in the paper store for a few minuets and then onto the mall to check out flower girls dresses. Well we found a few cute ones but I think mom is going to make them. Now it is on to shoe shopping which is a total different post. All for tonight.

More engaged or the rest of the cherry tree story

Well good for you Dalayna. What happened was that Floyd and Jim came back from Walmart with the kids and it was time to leave and instead of hitting save now I hit publish post. So to get back to the cherry tree like Dalayna said that is under my guy so you will have to go back and read that post. Now back to my story after the cherry tree or I guess that was even before we started dating on a Thur Lynisha was tearing down wall paper and needed the kids out of the house so Floyd and I took them swimming at a motel here in town and out for icecream on a very cold day. When he came to pick me up to go get the kids he brought me flowers. How sweet for no reason at all. Then we had the birthday supper and the dating. Then came the cherry tree which was just the cake topper. He also got some little lights up around there so it is a really pretty place to sit in the evenings.
Then about a week or so latter he took me to work and somehow we started to talk about all the rings people at work wear. I said IF we ever got engaged I wanted an engagement watch not a ring because rings were just a pain at work since you always had to take them all off to clean your hands properly and they tear at the gloves we wear. Floyd: what are you kidding. Me: no I always thought an engagement watch would be nice anyway. Floyd: Well we have to get married then. Me: what why? Floyd: Because I always wanted to give my wife an engagement watch. Me: oh well. what else can I say.
Any way after that we started to plan our wedding with Nish and Jims help. Floyd also had to tell his parents as he wanted his dad to go watch shopping with him. Then we were going to just send out save the date cards to all the family by July. Well obviously that didn't quite work out as there was Antioch with all the family. So then he was going to purpose on Sat of Antioch convetnion. Well he ended up purposing on Sunday morning and since we didn't have the watch with us all the family who could came to Sidney afterwards and we had a party there. Needless to say that gave Floyd a good idea of my just jumping into something and planning as we go very quickly. I do have to learn that I have someone else I need to talk things over with now.
So we had the fairgrounds here in Sidney saved for New Years Eve which was our first choice for a date but that didn't work with everyone else we wanted there so we moved it to Aug 30th which is a lot sooner but with all my family no problem at all. So more up date as they come along. And if you have wedding Ideas please call Lynisha as she is my planner Thankgoodness as I don't know how I would handle work, getting ready for school and all that stuff I need to do and plan a wedding also.

Bloggers and photographers

So this is what my mom and aunts do when the get together. First they talk about the blogs they've read and then they take pictures the whole time and laugh about the pictures they've taken of each other. I think they see who can get the funniest picture. Engaged

Well to all you out there that live in my computer. This will be a wildly mixed up post as I'm trying to type as fast as the thoughts are flowing through my mind and believe me thats rather fast at the moment.
Wow I haven't talked to my family in the whole time I've been in Sidney as I have in the 2 days I've been engaged. So lets see I moved to Sidney in Nov and went to Union meeting down in CO. Since it is a smaller town most of us road to meeting together and sat together also. Well word got around to Floyd's mother that his girlfriend (that would be me) came to meeting as seemed to be a really nice girl. Well we laughed about that because I had just moved here and really had no interest in dating among everything else I was trying to do. Well needless to say we spent a lot of time together at Nish and Jim's as there isn't really any other people around our ages and they are family. Kyrie calls Floyd uncle anyway because he has been around since he was born. So we say well we are doing this to simplify her life. LOL. Well anyway in Feb after my birthday party in Kearney I came home and there was no one else here so I called Floyd up to see if he wanted to go do something since I still had 1/2 day off before having to go back to work and thought I might as well enjoy it. So we went out then and off and on a few more times during the months. More latter as it is time to eat.
Well so then May 3rd Floyds parents came up to help him get his car out of a snow drift and take him out for supper for his birthday. Well actually his post happened a little before that where he and Jim went out for supper and left me by myself. But he did take me out for lunch the next day so that was okay. Anyway his parents were here and I was working but got 45 minuets off for supper as I was pulling a long shift. Anyway I kinda figured maybe he thought something of me as his parents were in town and he wanted me to come to supper with them. So lets see we had the birthday supper and then Sunday was a potluck/birthday party in Kimble that I couldn't go to as I had to work. So he said he was going to stay home from that to spend the day with me. Wow now I am really getting suspicious.
So anyway I guess we started dating the 5th of May after me saying I didn't really think I would date because I didn't really have time and my grandmother saying that sometimes we just have to make the time or not turn down thoughts because of little time.
Then we had the cherry tree.
