The bathroom was kinda a pale purple color.
All primed
All painted with the first coat
Towels with the paint.
With the shower curtain and towels back in place.
I had finals last week and despite not getting to finish my test because of a time crunch with another class and being told I did not pass I PASSED. We have to have a 75 to pass our classes and go on to the next semester. I don't think I've had below an 80 in any of my classes before but working and going to nursing school is apparently not the thing to do so I ended up with a 75.9 in Pharmocology and a 78 in Nursing of the adults, but then again I got a 98 in Basic nursing concepts and I did pass the semester so now I am enjoying a break and cutting down on my hours at work when I start back to school.
So for the next 3 weeks I am off of school and wanted to do a few things around the house that we haven't had time or energy to do since we got married. Jana came up after sp meetings so this was the perfect opportunity to do something. So we decided to paint the bathroom. Well if you give a Jana a thought she will run with it. First we went to Walmart to pick out paint samples. Then we both had to look at them in the bathroom and then take them over to Lynisha's house to look at them again. 2 out of 3 one the color choice. My husband being color blind and me being really color inept, well we didn't really have to much input but when you put our new towels with the paint sample it matched perfect. So then onto Walmart again to get paint and all sorts of other stuff with a few calls to Dad. They have these really neat straight edge and corner brushes that we got as well as some rollers and regular brushes. In the middle of all that we made homemade white chili and went over to Nisha's for lunch. Then we came back and taped the bathroom and Jana started priming while I went to work. Jana with a little help on the ceiling from Floyd got the bathroom primed that afternoon. The next morning Jana came back over and we painted the whole bathroom in about 45 min. Then that evening Floyd painted the second coat, and put everything back in the bathroom. So here are the pictures from the last few days of our bathroom.

It looks NICE!!!
Wow! The pictures look great, I can't wait to see it! Wonder what she'll find here to do!!
Now where were you guys when I was painting??? Hehe.
It looks very nice!
Jeanne, I haven't met you, but I blog with your Mom. I must say that your bathroom is gorgeous! I LOVE those colors! Our bathroom is brown, so I might change it up a bit before too long and try the blue/green with it. It's beautiful together. I think you've done great in school with trying to work too. I got my LVN/LPN license about 10 years ago and it was the most grueling time in my life, but I'm glad it's behind me now. I need to take a refersher coarse though as we had the kids and eventually I'll get back into it. Enjoy your vacation!-Traci K. (www.k4blogspot.blogspot.com).
Love your bathroom. Good job! And congratulations on finishing the semester. I know you worked very hard to accomplish everything. Great to see Jana up here and in Scottsbluff as well. Just very COLD right now. Take care.
OH COOL bathroom and congrats on passing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like it.
Thank you. I think it looks great. Floyd said today that the paint is growing on him (and to get it off). This is good as he sees it as red and that is his least favorite color.
I love what you did with the bathroom! And congrats on passing :)
