Well I am dating now and I won't say finally because it's not like I had time to sit around a fill sorry for myself anytime in the past. So today you get to read my thoughts on dating or what ever happens to come off the tip of my fingers today.
When I first moved here we went to Union meeting down in CO and since Nish and Jim have a van I went with them and Floyd. Well someone down there that didn't take the time to find out that I was Nisha's sister and had just moved here called Floyd's mom after meeting and told her it was really nice that his girlfriend had come to meeting. So we sorta laughed about that but didn't really think to much of it though Jim kept telling me I should give him a chance and ask him out sometime. Honestly my thoughts on that where that he was a goofy kid that lived here in town and was always over at Nish and Jim's so if I wanted to spend time there then I would have to put up with him also.
So I put up with him which wasn't really to hard to do as we all spent time together and get along well. Then in Feb I was coming home from Kearney and still had 1/2 day off before I had to go to work the next day and everyone else was still out of town so I called him up and we spent the afternoon together. I was quite amazed that we got along so well on our own and had fun. So off and on through the next months we started hanging out more and more together. Then May 4th he was trying to get up the right words to ask me out which he rather stumbled around on and never quite got the words out so I go over to Nish and Jim's the next day and she tells me that Floyd told them we were now dating. Well good thing they are here. If I have any questions about what's going on in my life I can just ask them. LOL.
So last Sunday night before I get off of work I get a phone call from Floyd asking me if I can come over after work. This is 10 at night and he has to get up early to go to work but I stopped by anyway and he showed me what he had been doing that day. Thats when I found out he could be really romantic also. He has a hanging cherry tree in the front yard that has loads of white blossoms on it right now. He cleaned out from under the tree and put a bench there to sit on. It smelled beautiful under there.

Random thoughts from my day.
So this will be just a jumble of thoughts like my mind at the moment. I just got out of or nursing program lunch where us new students for next year meet with our instructer and the students just finishing up the program. So now I am a big bit scared and stressed out. Basiclly I have everything done that I need to have done to start the program except my physical. BUT I asked how much I could resonable expect to work during the program and they told me maybe every other weekend. YIKES!! How am I going to manage that one???
I've also come to the conclusion that I am a work a holic, and can't say no to going into work. Then I was told that we will have no life. NO dating, time with families or having babys if we want to get into this program. So maybe I need to go tell Floyd this as we just started dating. Lets see "Sorry after 3 days of this dating thing I've been told by my nursing teacher that I can't date during the nursing program if I want to get through the program sucessfully, so I just have the summer in which I am going to be working every hour I possible can as I can't work during the nursing program either." Now what responce do you think I will get from that.
I've already desided that when I graduate Lynisha and Jim are going in my speach with a big Thankyou for supporting my nutritional needs during the year. I am so glad that I have relatives here in town and am not trying this entirely on my own and I only had two classes this semester. I keep telling myself it is only 9 months and I CAN do this.

April
Well I haven't been on here in a while so decided to update my life some. Ha if only I could do that. More like update what I've been doing in the last several weeks. School has been going well and now I'm down to the last few weeks. In Micro we are doing unknown bugs now, which is very interesting to me. In Nutrition I am doing a report on diets in the elderly, both at home and in nursing home/hospitals. Also very interesting and filled with my last couple of years experience.
As far as work goes well I felt like the last few weeks that I was in that Psalm. Ye though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. We've had 5 people die in the last 2 weeks very unexpectedly for 3 of them and quite expected for 2 of them. So I was just thinking of the shadow of death. In the friends that I've been around that have died there seems to be light and rejoicing that they can go to a much better place although we will miss them. These deaths in the nursing home that I have been in the room during are all together different. A dark shadow and you can't begin to imagine how much darker it will be. So I was really thinking when we die to natural things, things in life we need to put to death, that just brings more light into our lives.

More spring break
Well my younger brother and sisters came over for their spring break. Younger meaning those still liveing at home and going to school as they are all younger than me and seem to rotate in and out of mom and dads house with regularity. We had some nice spring weather as well as some cold windy winter snow. The four kids stayed at Nish and Jims until Tues night and then came and spent the night with me. I was in the middle of getting out all my spring/summer clothes and packing away me winter ones so now I have another mess to clean up but at least it is confined to one room.
Wed night Kyrie came over and spent the night with us. I don't have any pictures though as I bought a car instead of a camera. But to paint a picture Kyrie was going to sleep with Shayla and Kaela and then desided that aunt Jeannes bed would be a better place to sleep which would have been fine except that Kara was already in it. So she climbed up in the middle and proceeded through the night to move herself sideways. Which just about pushed me off the bed. Don't know still how that works that someone so little can move someone much bigger but it does. Kara then got squashed so she cureled up in a ball right in the middle of the bed somewhere at Kyries back so then I could not move Kyrie over because Kara was blocking the way.
Thur we all packed up and went back over to Lynisha's house. I got some art projects from Walmart that looked like fun and left them there. Not very nice of me realy because then they could make a mess at her house instead of mine. But she very nicely put up with that in the middle of her dinningroom and they didn't get to messy except for the bead watches which kept falling off of the table onto the floor.
We went to the park a few times which was fun as I hadn't been to the park with Trey before and he hadn't been since he learned how to walk so it was like his first time. He has no fear except for the slids and loves the marry-go-round. He stood up on the marry-go-round while it was going and would walk back and forth across it. Then he kept trying to get on while it was going or hold on while Kyrie was pushing. They had some little hills in the park that he must have thought looked like moutains. He struggled to climb them and then clapped his hands when he got to the top. Then he looked down and had to walk sideways down one step at a time and would turn around and do it again. The kids left with Cindy on Sat to go back to Kearney.

Spring break
Well we are taking a break from school or from spring? Not sure why they call it spring break because I don't really think it is spring yet although right now the weather would beg to differ. I just finished up midterms at school and got my grades and I am passing in both my classes. Thankgoodness I am good at writing papers off of the top of my head because that is how I am getting the best grades in Micro. I am actually supprising myself in that class. Went into school today to take my last test before break and after going into work at 4am I actually remembered a lot for my test. Not going to try that one again though. Nutrition and Diet Therapy I have an A in. Now if I just put to use in my life what I learned in class I would have it made.
I have had some company to my little place the last few days. Our workers came over for lunch on Wed on their way through and I actually cooked an edible meal. Lol I had to call up Lynisha and ask her how do I cook chicken breast real fast in the microwave? Is that even possible? Yes it is so I didn't have undercooked pieces of chicken on the top of my casserole after all. Thank goodness for sisters. Then I also had to figure out how to get the lid off of my casserole dish after it had bubbled over and stuck to the dish. I didn't ask Lynisha about that one. So I am standing in my little kitchen while the workers are in the living room trying to make a quite phone call and at the same time figure out how do I get this lid off. Well thin forks come in handy. I was thinking all kind of strange things like maybe I could stick it in the sink and wash around the outside and that would unstuck (don't you think unstick would work better here? but the dictonary doesn't know what I'm taking about) it but then I thought that might suction it on worse. Then after we were done with lunch my aunt Elaine stopped by on her way through. So my apartment actually got a spring cleaning real fast in the middle of midterm week. Something I thought would be impossible but I made it through.

Feb 2008
Well lets see since the last time I wrote a lot has happened. I now have a fully furnished appartment. First some nurses I worked with that are travelers finished up their contract and went on to their next jobs. So who do you suppose they thought of when it was time to empty out their appartments but me. SO I got a brand new bed, with sheets, some pillows and lots of odds and ends that you don't think of unless you have nothing. Also my grandmother came to visist on her way to south america and brought me dishes and some pictures. Then my mom and dad came up for christmas and brought me a coutch and table and some dishes. I did have dishes left in my cupboard but they are missed matched leftovers from the last people that lived there. Then the guys in the appartment across from me moved out and left everything so I got two lamps, an end table and some car stuff for Morgen.
Now all I am really missing are some chairs for my table and a clock. You would think I would have a clock but all I have is a phone and when there is nothing else in your house that tells time well then you keep a pretty close hold on that.
Speaking of my phone it hasn't rang in 4 days so I must be caught up at work and plan to keep it off this weekend so I don't get any calls from work. I have worked the last 14 days and picked up 14 hours of over time last week so am looking forward to a wonderfull weekend off in Kearney. Still have a 2 page paper to write for school but seem to be able to just pour those out and get good grades so not to worried about that. all for today.

Jan 2008
Well I was waiting for pictures to start my blog but can't seem to get my hands on any so this will just have to be a boring me writing blog for the time being. Actually my year has started out as anything but boring so far. The first of Nov I moved to Sidney, NE. The next day I started my new job at the hospital here in the Long Term Care section most commonly known as a nursing home. Around the 15th of November with my sisters help as I was spending most of my week days at work I found a nice little garden level apartment, cleaned it and moved in. No furniture except an air mattress and a chair. I had to borrow some sheets from her and a pillow.
